There's a great park just 5-minutes walk for those early morning dog walks, plus a great children's playground. On the way home, stop off at our local Store & Post Office to pick up your newspaper, along with some freshly baked Cornish pasties, fresh bread, cakes & delicatessen produce, all from local suppliers.

You're close to favourite attractions like the Eden Project and the Lost Gardens of Heligan and within easy walking distance of the River Fowey and the South West Coast Path & Readymoney beach.  Just minutes drive, you've got many beautiful walks such as Lanhydrock House & Gardens which has a variety of lovely walks, Cardinham Woods, gravel walks amongst beautiful trees, Golitha Falls and many more.  All these have the most amazing cafes.  At Cardinham Woods Cafe, a must do is the Cheese, bacon & onion scones with bacon jam & cream cheese - a sort of savoury cream tea! Another amazing (& now very famous thanks to Rick Stein!) is Inkies Smokery & BBQ cafe at Golitha Falls. The owners have renovated this self-catering holiday home to a high standard, focusing on details large and small to ensure your comfort is a priority.

Firm, Hypnos beds as standard, wardrobes and drawers in each room and all decorated in calm coastal colours with toning Roman Blinds or curtains and matching cushions.

Pillows, duvets and all bed linen by Dusk, The White Company & John Lewis. Firm, comfortable sofas and chairs from Sofa.com, and a kitchen/dining room made for entertaining. Calming and relaxing colour schemes throughout in Farrow & Ball colours.

 In the Kitchen, you'll find a large integrated fridge/freezer, integrated washing machine & dishwasher, a glass electric hob and large oven.  There is a kettle, Cafetiere, Nespresso machine, toaster and dishes and pans for cooking. There's even a food processor.  In the winter season (and Fowey is so very much a YEAR ROUND DESTINATION!) Gas Central heating will keep you warm, and the log fire a real treat on chilly nights.  Heating is on a timer, set at an ambient 21c during autumn and winter only, it is not on during summer months

PARKING: there are 2 parking spaces on the drive and more on the road, but avoid parking on double yellows as we do occasionally get parking wardens

We love dogs and we are happy accept up to 2 extremely well behaved dogs (costs apply). We're dog owners ourselves and know how important they are to the family and the enjoyment of your holiday, we don't want to leave them behind!

But we do only accept extremely well behaved, polite dogs please, never upstairs or on furniture, and no bigger than a labrador & only dogs over 10 months old. Regretfully, we do not take any dogs listed on the dangerous dogs register.

There are so many walks, most of them with rivers and cafes! Then there's the sea! There's a park with children's playground just around the corner, 5/6 mins walk and so many beautiful walks, too many to mention.

Three double bedrooms sleep six people, with the main bedroom boasting a superking-sized bed and an ensuite shower room. Two further bedrooms provide a King-size bed and the third has a zip and link superking, configured as 2x3' single beds, but which can be zipped together to make up a Super-king bed.  Please let us know if you wish this made up into a Superking at least 2 weeks before your holiday. You'll find quality firm brand new Hypnos beds in each bedroom, with plump mattress toppers and pillows to ensure your comfort.

The large stylish kitchen/dining room features a stunning huge oak table & chairs, for those special meals with friends and family, and the kitchen has just about everything you'll need to feel at home. Large glass sliding doors open directly onto the huge deck & outdoor dining table and sofa seating area. 

Then step into the peaceful spacious lounge with log fire & large flat screen TV, decorated in Farrow & Ball coastal hues, with plenty of comfortable, stylish sofas and chairs & double casement doors opening on to the large deck. with those lovely views.
